The third title of the now famed manager is a huge achievement considering the poor start of his Arsenal career with a humiliating defeat against Manchester United when the Gunners lost 5 to 0. Despite the weak start, the team managed to get back into shape and finished in 5th place. This season started much stronger with Arsenal beating 5 out of 5 August opponents including Crystal palace, Leicester City, and Aston Villa.
Arteta’s bold statements
At the beginning of his managerial career with the Gunners, he said that players and the staff of the team must demonstrate passion and take their responsibilities seriously to ensure that the club has a shot at winning the Premier League. His coaching style has been successful so far and the future looks bright for Arsenal.
Arteta is also a very big defendant of Arsene Wenger, the famed coach of the Gunners who spent 22 years leading the team to many victories. After his retirement in 2018, he was mostly looking at the performance of the club from the sidelines, but Arteta said that he would welcome the return of the experienced veteran to the club. Seeing them together would have been a joy for many Arsenal fans.
Many believe that Arteta is capable of leading the club to the top spot in the national championship. However, some setbacks can put these hopes to rest. Recently, the Arsenal manager said that he is quite worried about the current physical condition of Emile Rowe who is still recovering from multiple injuries and has not been performing to his full potential even during training sessions ailovemusic.
The closest prospect of the team is not optimistic
Olexandr Zinchenko is also recovering from an injury and Thomas Partey has just returned with some medics still concerned about his fitness. Upcoming battles against Tottenham, Brentford, and Liverpool will not be easy without Zinchenko, Rowe, and Partey performing at their peak level. If Arteta wants to get yet another title by winning all October matches, he will have to work hard and create a reliable strategy.
